Iona is our setting’s link speech and Language Therapist. She works with and advises on all requests for advice or assistance here at Langlees ELCC. Iona visits the nursery regularly and also leads training and development opportunities for staff to best meet the needs of all our children. Iona offers regular drop-in sessions for families to come in for advice and support. We are continually working towards and maintaining whole setting accreditations for language and communication. Iona has supported the training and setup of language and communication focused groups Mini Chat and Nursery Narrative.
