At the end of last academic year Leah and Kairyn worked together to complete the Woodlands Hub training programme to achieve certification in providing high quality outdoor learning experiences and fire pit experiences. They have begun offering woodland experiences for children in the 2's room and 3-5 room. These sessions provide opportunities for our children to participate in den building, explore nature, climb trees and enjoy a snack around the fire. As these sessions incorporate children from both playrooms it has been a fantastic opportunity when supporting children from 2's room moving into the 3-5 room - they are beginning to build relationships and become familiar with their peers.
